Encouraging Career Development Skills for Youth from St. Louis to Chicago

Staffing for Our Future Leaders!

As part of our philanthropy, the R. Whittington Foundation offers youth from the St. Louis area to Chicago opportunities to develop their career development skills. In 2011, Odie Smith established Nu Beginnings Employment Organizers, an employment assistance company working with individuals to navigate effectively through employment and unemployment survival. In 2013, the office in Florissant, MO, was opened for all to visit and receive career guidance, professionally written resumes, cover letters, and employment support. Nu Beginnings acquired its 501(c)(3) non-profit status in 2014 and as of the year 2015, Odie has partnered up with the R. Whittington Foundation to assist with the job placement initiative.
